I am a fiber artist. For last two years I have been enjoying experimenting with image, texture, and color in large-scale pieces using a grid. I make several hundred same-sized 3-D paper forms that I glue onto Plexiglas. Color creates the initial image, and the textures and patterns of the papers add essential variety and additional movement throughout the piece.
Fields of Reds is part of a triptych. Each piece has the same pattern of light to dark and uses either analogous or complementary colors.
